Typical applications

Low-power ASK reception for compact control products.

Wei-R3 is intended for battery-powered and low-current remote-control receivers that decode DAT pulses with an MCU or decoder IC.

Single-live-wire switches

Low-current receiving for compact wall-switch control.

Battery-powered receivers

Remote-control reception where standby current matters.

Smart-home controls

Wireless doorbells, lighting controls and small appliances.

!

Security alarms

ASK/OOK trigger reception for alarm and access products.

System position

Receive the RF signal, then decode the pulses.

Wei-R3 demodulates ASK/OOK RF data. The downstream MCU or decoder interprets the transmitter protocol.

Wei-R3 receiver module usage with Ling-T3 transmitter and MCU

Interface boundary: DAT is a demodulated digital-pulse output. It is not UART data and does not provide predecoded addresses or key values.

Pin assignment

Six module connections

SHUT
Internally pulled down; floating or low is active, high enters sleep.
DAT × 2
Equivalent demodulated digital-pulse outputs; connect either one.
VCC
Positive 2.1–5.5 V supply.
GND
System ground.
ANT
50 Ω antenna interface for the ordered band.

Operating states

Active and sleep control

  1. ActiveLeave SHUT floating or drive it low; DAT outputs received pulses.
  2. SleepDrive SHUT high; wake-up takes approximately 1 ms.

Confirm the frequency, supply, common ground and DAT waveform before integrating protocol decoding.

Integration notes

Protect low-current performance in the finished product.

RF performance depends on the transmitter, antenna, supply noise, enclosure, installation and on-site interference.

Power supply

Place a 0.1 µF ceramic capacitor close to VCC and GND; add 1–4.7 µF bulk capacitance when required.

DAT routing

Keep the pulse-output trace short and away from switching nodes, relay contacts and motor wiring.

Antenna

Use an antenna for the ordered 433 MHz band and keep the ANT route short and direct.

Final validation

Retest current, wake-up and reception with the final enclosure, harness, power supply and installation.

Is DAT a UART interface?

No. DAT is a demodulated pulse output. Decode the transmitter protocol with an MCU or decoder IC.

How does sleep control work?

SHUT is internally pulled down. Floating or low is active; high enters sleep. Wake-up takes approximately 1 ms.

Can the 315 MHz and 433 MHz versions share one antenna?

Use the antenna and RF setup for the ordered frequency. Do not treat the two bands as interchangeable.

What affects receiving performance?

The transmitter, antenna, supply noise, PCB, enclosure, mounting direction and local interference all affect the complete receiver.
