Operating modes
The online selector only shows the stocked SKUs. The datasheet also defines additional mode variants; confirm their availability before ordering.
Toggle output: each remote-control press toggles the matching output state.
Momentary output: high while the key is pressed, then returns low. Default version.
D0 sends decoded data as fixed 9600 bps ASCII serial output.
No-pairing serial version; D0 sends decoded data as fixed 9600 bps ASCII output.
Interlock output: only one of D0–D3 is high at a time.

Selection boundary: Switching versions use D0–D3. M5/M5N use D0 as the serial output. Confirm the required mode, transmitter, output logic and antenna before purchasing.

Pins & output mapping
Use common ground with the host controller or external circuit. Do not exceed the specified I/O drive capability.
Learning & control
The LED indicates pairing activity and received learned signals. N variants do not require learned pairing.
After power-on, quickly double-press the pairing key. The status LED starts flashing.
Press a key on the compatible transmitter. The LED lights for about one second after successful pairing.
Hold the pairing key for more than eight seconds after power-on, then release it to clear learned remotes.
Briefly press the pairing key during operation; D0–D3 become low-level outputs.
Serial output
Serial versions use fixed 9600 bps ASCII plain text, not raw hexadecimal byte output. Adapt the parser to the MCU receive buffer and application state machine.

Receiving distance and stability depend on the transmitter, antenna, supply, enclosure, installation position, load interference and on-site co-channel conditions.
Use a stable VCC supply; place a 0.1 μF decoupling capacitor close to the module and add bulk capacitance as required by the load.
Keep the module and antenna away from relay contacts, motors, switch-mode supplies, inductors and long harnesses. Test while loads operate.
Keep ANT routing short as a 50 Ω RF trace. Separate RF, digital-output and load-drive areas to reduce coupling.
Keep copper, batteries, shields, metal enclosures and long harnesses away from the antenna. Retest in the final structure.
Compliance boundary: Where the completed product requires FCC, CE, SRRC, EMC or similar certification, rely on complete-product testing and formal reports.
